The 41st Annual Saskatchewan Sport Awards in Regina will celebrate homegrown talent with acclaimed storyteller, host and producer Donnovan Bennett!
The January event will recognize the achievements and dedication of individuals in the amateur sport community including athletes, coaches and volunteers in two awards categories: Recognition and Excellence.
Celebrations will take place at 6:30 p.m. on January 29 at the Queensbury Convention Centre in Regina with Bennett acting as emcee.
As an award-winning, multi-platform sports personality, Bennett brings his extensive experience across television, radio and digital platforms to the Saskatchewan Sport Awards. His work, which explores the meaningful intersections of sport, race, politics, gender and pop culture has been recognized with multiple awards. He is also a three-time Canadian Screen Award nominee and frequently covers some of the biggest sporting events, around the world, including the Summer and Winter Olympic Games for CBC.
